Board Book Workshop

Audience: Adults and Children ages 6-15

Location: NYC Locations or Virtual Duration: 2 ½ Hours 

Board books are commonly used for kids as young as infants to 4 years old. After 4 or 5, children seek greater depth in storytelling and characters, more in line with the stories found in picture books. Sound, touch, and visual stimuli are essential elements of board books for kids. The variety of shapes and sizes in the board book spectrum is endless. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand or large enough to overflow a school backpack. Students will learn the different board books and how they are used to teach basic learning concepts that stimulate curiosity. This workshop is full of fun exercises that motivate all learners to create their board books and walk away with resources.

$10.00 per person for Materials (board books, crayons, cardboard, watercolor, construction paper, scissors, glitter, and stickers), but organizers can choose to purchase their materials.

Cost $150.00 Per person (30 Max students in a group is $4,000)

Virtual: The class can be offered virtually, but it will not include materials, and the course duration is 2 hours at $1,500.00. The organizer is responsible for providing students with a list of the workshop's materials.
